OK, that's radical. I assume there is no wire or psychotronic force generator holding you up. How long can you stay like that?

LOL- I'm not sure, Jordon, how long I can stay in the balance that is-guess that would depend on the balance I am feeling in my life and in my heart at the moment that would make the difference- too funny…

really, is that how it works, that is, a centered and grounded feeling in you life reflects in better (in the sense of longer and steadier) poses? i guess my understanding of yoga is pretty darn primitive…

absolutely. It's been in my experience both in the witness seat of student and teacher, that when there is chaos in the mind so it is on the mat. When we NEED grounding in our lives, it's always a great idea to work this area on the mat. They are both an offering to each other. It's all sama-the same. :)

ah, an interesting experiment…

have you ever stared at a photo online, in any state of consciosuness, and then began to see the photo “breathing” as you put it… of course, it's you who are breathing, but if the estoeric philosophies are correct, your “soul” or essence or dharmic jewel is being pulsed out to the ends of eternity and back who knows how many times each second…

so, if you stare at a photo long enough, like the entrancing photo of Sanieh balanced like that, i do believe you might begin to see it breathing…

who knows, maybe we can apply enough mind force to this particular picture to actually get her to change position slightly (seems unlikely, i'll have to admit, but electronic memory has been known to unaccountably alter itself…)

seen many yogis balancing for hours and lifted above the ground and keep ascending with protracting their dhyana span. i am glad Sanieh is trailing them. awesome and amusing pose.
I must say a festoon of girl by viewing this your pose. its praiseworthy for efforts, sacrifices and persistency you input by learning such amazing and critical poses.
yes i agree with radiant look.
with blessings and wishes !

Well, that looks pretty simple.  Let's see… step on my elbow.  Ouch ouch ouch ouch.  Seriously, though, that's the most amazing pose I've ever seen.
